Can we get like 200% increased dmg to the skills in the pics…maybe that way those runes are felt on ultimate…cause it took me +25runes to kill a bee insectoid normal champion in act 2 on ulti…seriously ?
And i think i dont even have to mention that from the 1st 0.1milisecond after cast it should activate in 0.1miliseconds when an enemy touches it.
it takes like 2 seconds to activate after cast…its worthless…both…50% of normal monsters pass them before they even have time to activate…and when they do they do dmg for elite diff max (not act5)
Maybe you should also post your build using www.grimtools.com if you want to show an example of a character using Runes being underpowered?
That said, there are several guides here that use one of either Rune (Hagarrad seems to be more popular) and I remember seeing one that used both (think it used the Runebinder set?).
Edit: This topic is also in the wrong place. It should be in Ideas and Feedback.
Edit 2:
This was the build I was thinking of that used both Runes and some of the Runebinder pieces. It’s not bad, should be better now with the changes to Artifact Handling but there is room for improvement.
On my runebinder i use both, frost one is great, impressive dot, good burst and debuff, i use the fire one just for cc tbh (cause i didn’t have skillpoints to boost it properly) but even like that it’s far from useless.
Assuming I can find it, I have very little confidence in this coming to pass. The building part, I mean. This is someone who pooh-poohed resist reduction.
Curiosity is killing me, I’ll unhide his post.
>level 100 purifier
Huh, ok.
>the damage bonuses
Kind of excessive. Probably well past the point of diminishing returns.
>trouble with bee bosses
…How did he get to level 100 if he’s struggling to kill those things with his runes? Something doesn’t add up here. (Maybe a respec on second thought.)
I keep looking at the damage numbers on those runes/their modifier skills and this doesn’t make sense. Unless he did something really dumb and brought NO RR AT ALL that damage looks pretty good.
I figure he must be using the Runebinder set to be getting those skill levels.
Well unless he actually posts the build we will be perplexed into perpetuity. Can’t say I’ve ever had trouble killing the hornets on any build on any level but then I know how important RR is
How to get to lvl 100 ? 1st 10 lvls in crucible + Lokar Set + Clarity Potion + All quests = Lvl 100 before u start ultimate. Very simple ! But u dont do quests u just want a lvl 100 char to put items on it, with half map done.
The damage looks pretty good, please go unskill some skills that dont relate to them, as a purifier, and max them out, and go test them, separate, without any other skills…they do TRASH dmg…FOR ULTI diff.
Sa yeah…again…rune dmg trash for ulti, activation time is for normal diff…
Haven’t used fire rune but cold one is definitely good damage-wise.
I was getting like 200k frostburn ticks even on a build that wasn’t optimized for the rune and the way it shotguns is strong too and guarantees devotions going off.
Only change I’d like for endgame is reduced arming time either through a passive skill or an item modifier which would make gameplay more fluid.
Just so we’re clear you don’t think it’s possible to get to level 100 before ultimate?
I mean it’s doable but I don’t recommend doing it since it’s kinda pointless
And I personally am not a fan of the activation time on runes but runes aren’t trash well Rune of Hagaard isn’t Rune of Kalastor is pretty shit.
Rune of Hagaard is exceptionally potent on bosses especially with the final modifier
