Inquisitor Seal dosn't proc Elemental Storm. V. 1.2.1.5

25% Chance but it dosn’t proc by the rebuke effect. (tested on dummys and enemies)

The Rebuke effect from Inquisitor Seal does correctly proc Elemental Storm as of v1.2.1.5.
If you’re testing on a training dummy, make sure to use the Pet Attack command on it.

Ok thank you for the info.

That is stupid beyond any sense because it is a stationary object with a dmg pulse and in no sense a pet. I can not imagine that this is of use in late game to press pet atk. every time.

it just doesn’t auto-attack the dummy, it should every actual enemy. so if you found it does not indeed auto-attack regular enemies that would be a bug to report.

That’s true. I also tested on actual enemies and confirmed that it procs automatically.

dummies are non hostile(notice how their names are tagged in yellow instead of red or green), that’s why you have to use the pet command button
this is true for all pets, real or pseudo pets, - with seemingly the only and random exception of new wind devils sometimes

but not true for any aura’s

it’s not the same
while seal and mines, bladespirit (even devils) are “technically” just an aura, that’s not how they “attack” to trigger devotion,
Same reason why even tho empy bros will damage dummies standing nearby/in celestial presence range, but still not trigger any devos, they are just more obviously not attacking from not swinging their hammers/doing hit animations.
Pure aura pets like mines etc use a 0dmg invisible attack skill to “hit” things, and it’s that which triggers the devo. (aside from sub skill like maelstrom/blade spit).
You could say dealing dmg isn’t the same as “attacking”, but mostly it’s also evident on multi attack pets like devils/spirits in blade spirits not actually ever using blade spit on dummies, depsite damaging them with aura, until you order them to attack.

*i don’t know what the change/new difference is after devil’s got made permanent, but they’re the odd one out in that they will sometimes/randomly seemingly actually auto attack dummies on their own here and there, like they’re set to engage “everything” in sight, but just not 100% (since it’s not actually constant)
i’ve noticed this a couple of times in ex Homestead doing NPC stuff, and one of them will just dart over and attak dummy triggering its devo, while the another devil is just chilling next to it/on the stairs or something

Ok it works on enemies… maybe i was blind. But the trigger mechanic is still cringe. =D
