Made an account just to say please make this game great… I would like something with a depth equal or greater than Pathofexile, but of course offline with a lan/internet option. And some modding/map making tools.

I first noticed how annoyed I was, repulsed even, at the always online requirement for these “games” when I played The Adventures of Van Helsing and found that I enjoyed my, surprisingly lengthy, time playing it over Pathofexile or D3, even though by comparison of gameplay and depth Van Helsing is absolutely nothing to PoE or D3. It almost defied logic, but of course made sense as constant desync/rubberbanding/lag, trading, etc can serve to destroy joy in any game, no matter how good its supposed to be. I honestly don’t know which I hated more, the trading or the lag. Probably the trading, especially in PoE.

You’re my last chance Crate, sincere good luck to you.

PS: I tried to play Titan Quest, but I just can’t get over how you have to re-click to move after pressing the ‘shift’ button to attack… it honestly irked me a lot…

Welcome Abdz to the forums!

As for your request we’ll have to wait find out how Grim Dawn will be when it’s in the beta or final release for us to find out about more of the depth of the game then is present in the Alpha.

You already know that Grim Dawn will have offline capabilities as well as lan and internet multiplayer options and with the system acquired from TQ the game should run a lot better as more time is put into sorting/fixing out whatever flaws that there were in the previous game.

I hope you find a game that won’t frustrate you and perhaps it might be Grim Dawn.

I’m not a fan of POE anymore, tried to get into it recently and it just didn’t grab me, and I played a lot of it early on. I do have high hopes for GD, but certainly the alpha has made me play it a lot, nearly 300 hours and counting.

if that doesn’t say how much I enjoy the game currently, I don’t know what will!

Thx and I hope so too. Tbh, even after getting screwed so much, I think this is the only arpg I know of with any good chance of being epic, and obviously you guys think that too otherwise you wouldn’t even be here.

To be fair, PoE is a great game, but its flaws which stem from the always online aspect, and some other minor things such as having to manually click on every single damn orb that drops and very limited inventory space (lots of anti-fun busy work), simply cannot be ignored. It’s just too much to deal with.
