Is it?
Does it mean if you spend enough time, you can max out all devotions?

Given enough time and effort, you can get to 50 Devotion Points, yes.
Oh wait, you still cannot go beyond the 50 points limit?
I thought you can go beyond 50 and eventually max out the entire devotion tree
I once thought that dolphins could fly, but I had no rational basis for that belief.
Max level cap and perhaps Devotion 50 limit would only be increased with new substantial content like an Expansion.
Hidden Path didn’t increase the level cap and I believe the soon to come Aetherial Rogue Like Dungeon will also have any change to the level cap.
If the Crucible increased the Devotion limit beyond 50 then I would think that to be a bit unfair for those who aren’t interested in the DLC.
R.I.P common sense
Just because you think something is common sense doesn’t mean it is to someone else. Stop the hate.
It would be a pointless and retarded balance decision, I don’t why you would think that it worked like this. The entire point in this game is that you have to make choices for your build, not just grab everything there is.
As a counterpoint, the current setup for crucible-awarded devotion is also pretty pointless given clearing 50+ shrines is both simple and rewarding anyway. When I saw the option I thought it might mean the ability to get a few extra points, like the hidden path did for attribute and skill points. I figured I should look it up first though, and that brought me here.
Are you friggin serious?? It’s so obvious that the game is not designated so that you can’t have more than 50 devotion points… there is even a friggin min/max count on the Devotion window, dude… Are you for real, or are you just trolling?
I know this, never once did I say I believed it. The only troll was you in your post. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, don’t say anything at all. I was just trying to show you that your post was hateful the way you phrased it to the OP.
Again, I never said I believed it…
There are some people (I’m not one) that will find it “fun” to level a character to 85 ONLY in the crucible, so the crucible-awarded devotions aren’t completely worthless…
Also, if you do want to play through the crucible and story mode early it will let you get a few more devotion points before finding them in the story campaign. Some may want to have all 50 by the end of Elite or with a lot of work, veteran… You can still clear the shrines in the story mode for exp and lot. There are already more shrines in the story then 50…
Just as pointless as allowing devotion points in crucible to begin with. I’ve tried with under level characters the XP is TERRIBLE and you can’t get faction AT ALL so unless you pre-plan on making a gimped character there is no reason to collect devotion points on hard mode, getting them in campaign is much much easier.
I think they should have increased the cap by 5 or so, that way our max toons would have something to go for. Nobody will be getting devotions in crucible.
Nope, the XP moves a lot slower and you’ll hit 85 with zero in every faction lol, going that route is only for masochists.
What? Are you gonna cry in OP’s place just because the way I said the truth? His assumption was dumb, so get over it.
Get off of your high horse, mate. And stop being oh so edgy, you sound like angry 12 year old trying to show everyone that you’re awesome. You’re not.
