Is Falcon Swoop usefull for 2H lightning warder

Hi everyone,

I am leveling a 2H lightning warder, and i saw in many builds that the use of the Falcon Swoop devotion skill is recommended. But is it really useful? Because at max level it only deals 30% weapon damage i think it’s not that good for the life steal, and for the rest it deals physical and bleeding damage, which are not the specialized damage for my build (although i have a % of physical converted to lightning).

So does Falcon Swoop worth the 5 devotions point needed? Thx for your answers!

It is totally worth it and you should probably get it pretty much before anything else. It penetrates enemies, and shoots many projectiles, and each of those projectiles deal the % weapon damage.

Yes, rush kraken devotion then get swoop right after.

It is only 30% wd, but all 6 projectiles can hit one target and it has the bonus phys damage too. It’s not a ton of damage like it used to be, but it’s still solid

Ok, but don’t you think investing in Revenant instead is better (it gives 9% life steal and +% attack speed) ?

No, not really. If something, invest only 1 point to it to get some life leech. Other bonuses from revenant are pretty small imo. But area damage is what you will need when you level up, and falcon provides you some.

What i would do is get falcon first, and then rush kraken.

Ok thx for your answers i will keep Falcon Swoop then

I personally removed Falcon Swoop on my lightning Warder after the recent nerf. It doesn’t become crap, but in the current state it is probably best utilized while leveling or on 2h phys/bleeding toons.

But you shouldn’t take my word as granted, as there are more knowledgeable ppl on the forum with much more hours played, and if they say it’s worth it then there’s a huge chance that it is.
