Is "Ritual of Cleansing" bugged, or am I missing something?

Hey guys,

Am I doing something wrong, or is this quest bugged?

I’m trying to complete the new “Ritual of Cleansing” quest, but it says I need to finish Talgir the Druid’s quest first.

The problem is… I already did. The quest where you give him the Embers of the First Flame is completed, and Talgir doesn’t even have any dialogue related to that quest anymore. However, Ritual of Cleansing still won’t progress, as if I had never completed it.

This is my first time playing through this expansion, so I’m not sure if I’m missing some hidden requirement or if my quest progression is bugged.

Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

This should not be possible, but you are missing the credit for the quest.

Upload that save file and I will restore the missing token.

I just wanted to personally thank you for your help.

Iin less than 2 hourss you had already replied, fixed my save, and got me back into the game. I honestly couldn’t believe it.

This is, without a doubt, the best game company I’ve ever had the pleasure of supporting.

Now I have a different problem: I wish there were more things I could buy from Crate, because you guys deserve more of my money. :smile:

Thanks again—not just for fixing my save, but for showing how much you care about your players. It’s genuinely appreciated.

Hi! I have the same issue with the same quest but for me it’s “Assist Koryn Earthurn” whose quest I already completed and who doesnt offer dialogue anymore. thus i can’t finish Ritual of Cleansing

even weirder it seems that I already completed Ritual of Cleansing some time ago but it’s still in my questlog and hindering me from progressing in the story. In the Screenshot you can see on the right the quest being not yet done, and on the left with the finished quests that it is alredy done and in the middle koryn who doesnt offer anything.

I have the same problem, and it’s incredible—after the game was delayed multiple times specifically to fix issues, there is now a problem with no solution…

Almost as if these kinds of things didn’t happen in testing. What, you think we ship bugs on purpose?

I am having the same issue. Is there going to be a fix soon or do I have to upload my character file?

I’ve run into this same exact situation. Is there a fix, or can it be handled by uploading my character here? It shows in my completed quests, yet it has not progressed the quest.
