Is there enough vit/bleed support?

feedback/question/scheme to get asterkarn info
background: i was playing blade arc with korvan casque and halberd, had my eye on wendigo’s howl to convert the other way, have been playing for weeks trying to fill a very sad stash tab with vit/bleed gear that doesnt seem to exist
sad stash tab

shouldnt there be more stuff? it feels like a common theme but it’s not.

vit/bleed blade arc can be created by this item combination

or with blood knight set

either way, it is a dot build

et voilà Grim Dawn Item Database

4 full sets even

aside from the single/individual items etc

*doesnt’ cover % all dmg stuff ofc, which would just add more

on a glance face value assumption, i’m guessing it’s one of the most supported dmg combos

that is more sets than i expected, my impression was more from random epics/legendaries/MIs
never saw a single vit/bleed rare armor piece but i see now theres a secret chest/medal only prefix, and theres Of Butchery for jewelry. still would be nice to have one generic rare affix when other combos have 2-3 for every slot. looking at these now maybe it’s a matter of not oversaturating vit, there is so much vit/chaos and vit/acid already

i’ll settle for bleed on wendigo devotion, come on

bleeding is found with pierce/phys likely because it’s counted as “physical”(cunning) dmg type? it’s probably thematically closer to phys(slash) hence why it’s not on vit “magick”/curse type

similarly you wont find a cold/acid rare prefix on armours even tho the item support exists elsewhere/on multiple sets
this gives you 3 bleed affix combos “just like the others”

pierce/cold is clashing types too and that’s all over the place, even though it seems to have equal or less mastery representation than vit/bleed

i guess it’s unusual to even have “combos” intended to be used together rather than just making the item have a broader appeal

Hi @torrenz, it seems that you are looking to join the fight of making some sweet Double Damage Dealer (DDD) Builds ! There are many combos that are viable to a varying degree (almost all combos really) depending on the items used and the class combo/skills used.

I knew I could make a Vitality/Bleeding Blade Arc Witchblade to work for you pretty easily and I spent the last few hours crafting and fine-tuning it before I posted it to my thread. Feel free to check out the build and see if that’s something you would like to work towards making. It works quite well and is easy to play! :sunglasses:

Enjoy!
