Is there something wrong with the Sheet Damage calculator?

Sometimes it displays a high number and other times it displays a low number. I have seen this happen to more than one character too. It doesn’t matter if I change a skill or an item or don’t do anything at all, it’s just random. It’s kind of annoying actually, especially when I am looking at new items to see if they are an upgrade or not. More especially if the item was sitting in my stash waiting for the character to reach the level or stat number to use it.

For example, my Level 87 Witchblade. Earlier today it was 82k dps, now it’s 19k dps. On the second tab, Blade Arc has a range of 73k to 123k dps. HUH? That doesn’t make any sense to me at all. I attached a picture to show you what I mean. Too bad I didn’t get the screen shot of when it displayed the higher dps.

Has this happened to anyone else before? If so, what is the remedy? Is there a remedy? Or do I just need to wait for it to self correct like I have with this character and my others?

Yeah, I am still using a level 58 weapon almost 30 levels later. HAHA!

Edit: With a range of 73k to 123k, 82k seems low. I have over 2 and a half attacks with a 2 handed weapon. So, would the 82k be correct? Again, seems low to me. Then again, math was never my thing.

My guess is your Blade Arc has Clean Sweep enabled which makes it slower. Therefore DPS is lower than numbers from a single hit suggest. Anyway a screenshot of your points in Blade Arc tree wouldn’t hurt.

Res: WOW! EFFING WOW! Holy cow good call. Thanks mate. Yeah, I had that Clean Sweep nonsense. Oh man, talk about a misclick from hell. Would explain all that grief too. All of a sudden I could barely kill mobs and I kept dying to heroes and bosses because I wasn’t dishing out the hurt like I was. Good grief.

To add insult to injury I was given the same crappy purple ring twice for my last two quests in Malmouth. Here… don’t just have one ring you can’t use and will never use… matter of fact HAVE ANOTHER!!!

Man I got clean swept for sure right into a pile of no soup for you. That last bit of Malmouth was the worst experience of this game I ever had. It. Was. Bad. Nerd Rage Bad. I was actually thinking of quitting the game and going back to D3. Yup, good ol’ fashion rage quit all because of a really minor mistake and oversight that I didn’t know about until now.

Well, thanks again, you saved Grim Dawn from being fed to the Deletion Daemon. Now… it… is… off to Forgotten Gods in elite mode WITH A VENGENCE!!! RAWR!

Edit: Even worse, not a ring, a medal. A FRIGGEN MEDAL!!! Seriously? WHY?
