is this build ok?

?

I dunno, what are you trying to do? Poison Nightblade?

Well without a bit more information it is rather hard to give some advice - what are you trying to build, what are your skills without the boni from equip, what is your equip and so on.

I’m guessing you’re trying to go for piercing/cold damage here so I wouldn’t put all those precious points into poison skills.

Also you didn’t skill Veil Of Shadow / Nights Chill, which is one of the best skills for pierce/cold builds since reducinging resistances is really important. Plus you’ve only 15 points into soldier mastery and didn’t skill Military Conditioning which is a very nice boost to your defence. I don’t know for sure but judging from your skills you should be rather squishy and die a lot in ultimate, take something out from veterancy and also put more points into the mastery bar (because thats where a lot of your stats are comming from) - I’m always giong for something like 50/32 or at least 50/25.

It would be best if you could post your build on grimcalc without the boni for a better analysis.

If I guessed correct and you’re trying to build pierce/cold I’d suggest going for something like this http://grimcalc.com/build/zhLHka (this is only a rough guideline I haven’t put much thought into this).

While I’m not 100% sure what sort of build you were hoping to make. I can say…

…No, that build is not even remotely okay. I mean sure you could kill stuff - but it’ll be 1/4 the speed it should be and its all self inflicted wounds.

i wasnt really trying to go for anything

this is in grimcalc

Well first of all you should deceide on about 1 or 2 main damage types - you can go for more but it will become rather difficult to find good gear for some obscure mixes. For Nightblade Pierce and cold would be easy to skill and gear for and since you’re going for blademaster I’d suggest ignoring poison. Go for Pierce as your Main Damage Type (since pierce scales with cunning and a blademaster has more cunning than spirit) and Cold as your second (which also means you should run around with swords because they do pierce damage).

So overall to improve your build remove the poison skills and go for everything defensive for now sind with ~5000 hp you won’t survive Ultimate difficulty (on a sidenote don’t fully skill veterancy the only thing its good for is for armor requirements nothing else, 1 point is enough).

ok…
how about this warder?
without mogdrogens pact and menhirs bulwark

with those skills

skills without armor

That one’s also kind of a trainwreck :stuck_out_tongue: Tremor/Blade Arc build with cadence kinda thrown in, Shaman barely invested in and skipping the 40% health boost, also you can’t use Tremor with Menhir’s Bulwark since one uses a two-hander and the other a shield so…

I think you kinda need to learn what works by a bit of experience, there’s plenty of respecs available so you can just try to switch things around a bit. Otherwise just follow one of the many guides on this forum, check some videos of what’s popular and seems to fit what you want to do… you’ll learn as you play.

If you wanna save that Warder I’d respec it into something like this: http://grimcalc.com/build/y1Dv6F
Blade Arc Warder, high health, panic regen in Menhir’s Will + Wendigo Totem healing. I solve most energy issues by slapping an Arcane Spark or two in my gear.

Seriously though, check out some guides, read their thoughts on why their stuff works and try it for yourself.

that build seems like it doesnt have much attack like it only has 1 in blitz and no forcewave. i have respeced and put 10 into heart of the wild

Blade Arc is more than enough as a main damage skill. Blitz is just for movement.
