I see - so the plusses on the weapon (that you are currently using) also apply to your own (independent) stuff too! Phenomenal! Thanks so much!
Careful : flat damage applies to weapon only, although +% damage stacks from all sources and apply universally to any source of damage (except pets and retaliation).
However, if a skill has got a “% weapon damage” in it, then the flat damage from your weapon will apply to the skill.
Amazing post, i’m newbie and this is very useful. Thanks alot!

Very informative. Thanks!
Olive green items are said to be augments.
However, I pick up a ton of olive green gear and weapons.
I am confused as to where these olive green pieces of gear comes in line with the other gear. Are they something special? I’m really confused as to what that color indicates when it’s on actual gear I pick up. I have been assuming they fall somewhere between the typical common rare green and the blue gear. Is that correct? Every search indicates that color is for augments only, but clearly I have bags full of armor and weapons in that color along with normal green color.

Admittedly the color is pretty similar.
I know in Titan Quest Anniversary Edition they split off Monster Infrequents and made them Olive Green, but in Grim Dawn they’re the same color as other rares.
Great post, one basic question here. The whole point of having an epic tier ABOVE rare tier is that a higher tier would have better stats than a lower tier item. Hence, higher tier items also have a low drop rates. So, here is the question. If epic items have lower drop rates and stats worse than rares, WHAT IS THE POINT OF EPIC ITEMS IN THE GAME OTHER THAN FILLER ?
