Also noticed you can’t see large mouse pointer in recordings.
One yellow square was (I think) blue pants and the other was MI shoulders.

Verify your game files, uninstall any mods.
All 665 files successfully validated. Never owned a mod for Grim dawn.
Showed via trade window to 2 others who saw the same item. Had a crash earlier while in a SR. The particular items were not moved in at least a week. Linked in chat it showed as Iron Bits.
Had a fresh install with new PC a couple years ago.
CORRECTION: I use rainbow mod
Looks like you have literal Iron Bits as an item in your inventory.
This is not possible under normal circumstances.
The image and code are in your game somewhere. Everything is 100% default except rainbow and we know it’s not that.
Do you want to know if it happens again? It’s possible I could exactly identify the items depending on my last back up. I know they were default IE no ascension or affix changes.
Have never seen this before but opened up the shared stash in multiplayer just now and:

I wonder what was in the missing spot prior to this? I think I used the transfer reagents button to the stash a few times after joining the host? Do not think I have seen those square bits in the shared stash in the prior…300 hours? But I suppose they could have shown up before now. If you pick up the square, it goes into character inventory as a square, and if you drop it on the ground it appears as the stated Iron Bits amounts. If you then pick it up (it doesn’t auto-collect like usual money, probably because it has been dropped once), it goes into the character money.
Based on the inventory position, if it was a 3x1 item, could it have been a Harbinger’s Dominator Blade or a Salazar’s Sovereign Blade that got updated in 1.3.0.7 to 1.3.0.8 in such a way it got interpreted as a fallback / placeholder Iron Bits?
I think it’s so rare it will not be fixed. Hundreds of hrs later and not seen it again.
