This build killed Lokarr and Clone of John Bourbon (Clones killed without any of set parts, but I got some after that), without using oils and without full Ultos set yet. The question that I’m about to ask may seem a little… hm… goofy? So:
If I am able to kill Lokarr, does that place me like high or something? Is that hard to do? Does it mean that I’m good at the game or is it easily doable by most characters? Because I know that killing Callagadra (on Ultimate) and Crate is a real achievement that was done be only a few builds, but I have no idea about Lokarr. Also, I have some problems with Ravager of Souls, so I have another question: If I am not able to kill Ravager of Souls, does that mean that my build is done wrong?
Yeah, when I think about this question, it seems pretty weird, but I just like to know those sorts of things; I don’t really have any way to check how big % of people done some things, other than asking OGs.
Lokarr can be even killed with only fists, however, the Ravager situation is a rather different story, and not every build can do it imo, maybe half of its hp is already an achievement but I play without any potions besides health and energy ones… so perhaps if u stay persistent, everything becomes possible, although the real question is, is it worth, really.
Hm. Just killed Avatar of Mogdrogen with facetank almost all the time, it took ages tho. Dunno if it was 10 or 15 minutes, it was a long fight. Good that I even killed him, he had a big OA advantage over my DA. New question: is killing AoM an achievement that will show my build’s power? Keep in mind, I’m almost 100% lightning damage, and he has a lot of lightning resistance. Still killed him tho
Killing Avatar of Mogdrogen is largely known to be an issue of stacking enough lightning resistance overcap, and therefore haven’t been a benchmark for a long time either. Being able to facetank him isn’t the point because it’s a caster enemy, pretty sure some of his skills have higher damage at the distance.
Callagadra on the other hand is rarely used as a benchmark for another reason - it’s a very disproportional challenge. Some build archetypes can facetank, others have to kite her across the desert, and there are a lot that just can’t. But despite that being able to kill Callagadra on Ultimate is most certainly a brag-worthy achievement.
Ravager is perhaps the only superboss that is consistently used as a benchmark, but then again it’s not being able to kill him per se but how long it takes.
Dude, being able to kill Celestials is always a good sign for you character, be it Bourbon Clones, Ravager or whatever.
Some of my characters just cannot withstand Mogdrogen or Ravager, e.g. if they simply have too low physical resist. Does not mean they cannot go SR80 though, so whatever.
Kill time as a benchmark is not a thing for me. DoT characters (bleeding dmg for example) will ofc always take longer
I know. Funny story: I was planning on choosing one of Ravagers for helmet (forgot which one), but in the deciding moment I thought “Jordyth Evelline is hella annoying for me, let’s kill him” and I made Ravager of Souls by accident… If I knew a little more and I would thought about it, I would probably go with Ravager of Flesh, due to my Elemental Resistances overcapped by over 70%.
