If there isn’t any fresh meat/fish then they’re supposed to use smoked, but I have 925 smoked meat in stock and both my kennels have unhealthy animals because they have no food. Their keepers aren’t going to get any either.
This is a game using Custom Settings though iirc we did mention this on the discord a little while ago after D & C came out so not sure if it’s fixed in vanilla or not.
