Solo Self-Found Hardcore Classless Dual-Wield Assassin. The story of his adventure, coming soon…

Grimtools: Keval, HC Classless Assassin Build

Khallos Strune was a man of honor. A fair and just leader. An excellent Mayor… And an old friend. That made it all the more difficult for Keval. Slitting Strune’s throat was the most difficult assignment he had ever undertaken, but it did not stop him from succeeding. Naomi was worth it.

It wasn’t hard for Keval to dispose of the Mayor amidst the chaos that had overtaken Port Valbury. Madness spread from Old Town to High Town, and at the crescendo of rioting, Keval was able to trick the mayor into meeting him, isolated from his guards. But once the deed was done he was in a tragic circumstance. Amidst of all the spreading fires and riots, he was cut off from Naomi- Unable to reach the ship she had been scheduled to board. He rushed to reach the harbor, but was waylaid by ruin at every turn.

By the time he had reached the harbor, the remaining ships had been destroyed.

He did manage to find a small rowboat. It would have to make do…

After a long and dangerous journey, rowing along the shoreline, the tides pulled Keval into the Arkovian Dockside, where he met a different kind of threat…

The docks appeared to have been overtaken by a bandit gang. They had clearly never heard of Keval before, so unfortunately for them, fatally underestimated his abilities…

1h bandit parry strike

2h bandit swing

2h bandit kill

The bandits were many, and Keval was on his own. He was also old, no longer in his prime his most efficient killing days were behind him. Many of the skills he used to possess as a Nightblade had begun to fade in recent years, though he was still a skilled stalker. He chose his targets carefully, striking in silence, and from unseen angles whenever possible.

His first few targets did not see their death approach, and with no witnesses, Keval managed to sneak quite a ways without being detected. A reckless play showed his hand, however, and his cover was blown. He was forced to go on the offensive, and leapt into the conflict leaving clouds of bloody mist that were once his enemies wafting in his wake.

As he dispatched the bandits, Keval could hear a commotion which seemed to begin to surround him and the bandits alike- A throng of Skeletal warriors appeared to be clambering up from the depths of the earth beneath them. He watched as a small group of bandits were torn apart by the skeletons- Their lone leader desperately fighting to survive, hopelessly outnumbered by the sudden throng.

Keval had seen enough- With the bandits distracted by the skeletons, he had the opportunity for escape that he was waiting for… Only he now had to fight through skeletons to win the day. He used every trick in the book that he was still capable of in his old age…

Stealth…

Swordsmanship…

Skulduggery…

And Shadows…

When the clattering ambience had receeded, and no more skeletons were left standing, Keval peered into the distance and noticed a bridge leading over the nearby river, to a different part of Arkovia. Perhaps it was his way out of this dangerous area…
