Oh BTW, he doesnāt actually do any damage, just roars at enemies in a high-pitched whine. 
But on the plus side, he is unkilleable.
Itās a ruin inside the Burning Oasis. Not a hidden place at all. I think I found the orb in the first room, probably in a chest or urn.
Well, i didnāt find it in the first room, or in any other room for that matter so i guess itās pretty much a random drop.

FYKI, the item has a red text color like a healing potion - I was wondering what it was when I saw the name āorbā after seeing it drop.
I got it first time through, itās cute.
Was it a drop from monsters or from some crate or something?

Didnāt find it and i made sure to kill everything and try to break every urn (including untargetable ones) so either itās a random drop or itās a well concealed urn.
Is it a consumable or can you use it again each time you start a new session?
I wonder how many different āpetsā like those are there to find 
Mine dropped from an urn relatively early in, but Iām not sure if it was sanctuary of horran. could have been one of the temples too.

I just GD-stashed both the raptor (minivore) and the worm/maggot thing.
Not a fan of the worm.
As for the raptor, it is cute enough, but too small and rather too slow. Wish it was atleast somewhat bigger 
Agree on the slow part. Crate could give both minivore and maggot some cardiac training for keeping up with the players speed most of the time.
And I do think that the minivore urn is random, found it once at Sanctuary of Horran and the other time in Temple of Ateph.
Wait, is the āfluffyā a reference that there is a Gryphon pet too? Iād love thatā¦ though Iād love a real Gryphon pet with stats and attacks. Those things are totes adorbs. Iāve been a sucker for gryphons as long as I can remember, but especially after this one from Narnia.
Itās permanent and works the same way as the purple Aether crystal pet you get from Kasparov - you summon it once, it stays for the whole session, cannot be killed or unsummoned.
It has quite loud sloshing footstep sounds that often made me jump thinking other monsters are near.
No, Fluffy was a reference to Chillmane Yeti from HoM amulet, may Mogdrogen rest its soul.
Afaik, there are no Gryphon pets in GD. But damn, now I want one :o
Oh those are adorable. I remember the Owlbear/Gryphon was was from a D&D art book for kids, never seen more of that though
Why RIP? That item and pet is still in the game. I would have based a Winter King build around it, but that item - both versions - continues to elude me to this day.
And yes, a Shaman-friendly Gryphon pet would be nice. I expected the expansion to add more Relics, maybe they saved a few for later patches?
Wait, you can get a crystal pet from Kasparov? Is it some secret quest or does it require a special answer when you give him the crystals for his experiment?
Just noticed the minivore sphere in my inventory but canāt remember where i got it :rolleyes: I guess i just picked it as if it was a potion when i saw some red text. It was definitely in the Valley of the Chosen area thought so itās pretty random.
