Korvan Secrets chest: 100% spawn chance?

The Korvan Secrets chest is a big red chest that has very good loot and always drops a Celestial Essence.
You can find it’s spawn points on grim tools:

My question is:

  • Does the Korvan Secrets chest have a 100% spawn chance once per game mode, and once you find it, you need to exit to the menu and start a new game to find a 2nd one (like a Nemesis mob)?
  • Does the Korvan Secrets chest have a very small chance to spawn on each spot, so you can either find 0 or 2+ if you keep looking, without having to leave the game and start again?

legit don’t know if can spawn multiple times per session, but i’ve neeever seen that happen, ever, since FG release
never not seen it spawn when going through tho

Yeah, that’s my experience as well, but I wanted some kind of confirmation.
If you’re farming and it’s the 1st case, you can quit once you find a chest, instead of continuing.
But if it’s the 2nd case, quitting to the menu is a waste of time.

Has anyone ever found 2+ chests in one game session (or zero)?

I have Asset Manager open so I checked:

Korvan Secrets = tagGDX2EldritchChestD02

tagGDX2EldritchChestD02 is from d01_chestsandsacrifice_01.dbr

d01_chestsandsacrifice_01.dbr is spawned by chestproxy_sandsacrifice.dbr

chestproxy_sandsacrifice.dbr has chanceToRun=100% and run only once per session

Unless I’m an idiot (wich is possible), I can confirm: the “Korvan Secrets” chest always spawn and spawn only one chest per session.

tbh I just found 0 :smiley: I literally traveled each point grim tools show and a big fat 0, dungeons included
