beside of have resists maxed, i need some advices, tips, mechanisms of bosses
had a bad moment in normal. the room is small. many tentacles, dont know where to stand (using pets)
has some aoe, cant remember if was like a blizzard. but no idea if there is a safe area
playing on HC, dont want to die haha
I know this isn’t a particularly helpful response, but my advice would be to simply skip him on HC. Really not worth it.
For a non super boss, he’s pretty stupidly brutal. I died a lot on my last summon build doing it for the first time, even on elite, even though I had no trouble in comparison killing about everything else on Ultimate(besides Gods and such).
There’s 2 main things to avoid, the pool of frost thingie and the meteors, but the meteors are hard to spot in advance and sometimes it seems he casts way more than usual at once(like 15 at the same time on the same spot, rather than the usual volleys). Problem is you can’t see much, the room is small, the tentacles slap for decent phys damage and personally I HATED how there’s chests right in the middle of the room so you end up misclicking them and not moving.
Honestly I wouldn’t bother on HC, there’s no really special rewards, just a one shot chest like any other. It’s just too easy to die instantly to meteors falling all on one spot, happened a bunch of times even with DA high enough for 0% crit and 86%resists.

Max cold, poison, and acid resistance.
Use force move to help avoid going where you don’t want to go.
I strongly suggest playing through the entire game in softcore - taking your time - so you can learn how each boss works.
Seeing a video helps, but there is no substitute for playing through the fight yourself.

no idea what lvl is my highest char. but if i want to test a build or a boss, i must farm all again on SC
yes, doing that i prevent to lose a char on HC. but not playing it for achievements haha. im ok if i die
but for this boss, ill wait until have some good gear, try to learn how to evade his attacks on Normal, then try on Elite haha
on ultimate, yes, will be one of the last bosses for me haha
about bosses like Lokarr or Callagrada mmmm, well, as with Kra vall, ill try when full geared
He will be much easier when you have mobility rune.

Hes does quite a bit of Cold for sure. And if im not mistaken the Mod i got both kills ive did (In garbage gear) i noticed he has 60% Crit mod. Meaning you definutly want to have good DA. Id say 2500+. Low DA means you get hit more, in this case if you get hit more you also get crit more and crits are where one shots come from.
First time i tried him i got destroyed. Think i was rocking some 1900 DA or some shit… Second time i come back with some new defenses… Easy peezy… Dont just stand there facetanking. Move in, Put in your Deeps, Get the fuck out. Watch his animations as well he has a pattern just like the A4 fight. Mobility Skills help a ton here. I happen to run 2 movement skills so this works well for me. With good DA+Armour it makes the difference in the fight being a nightmare and it being just as easy as the A4 fight.
If using pets, he is rather easy.
Put your pets on aggressive stance and send them in first. Use the pet attack command to put them right in the boss’s face.
You should focus on standing in the center part. But move back if the boss casts his blizzard and stuff on you.
