Late Game population growth

What are some ways to grow population? Other than birth and immigrants? Can I force or invite more immigrants somehow?

I seem to not be able to get over 1k villagers due to raids or spikes of old age deaths. It is a vicious cycle right now and for many years i’ll get close, then a raid will knock me down and take out 40, or its time for the elderly to move on…

There is a 1k limit for performance! You can not get more peoples actually

thats a shame! will that change in future updates?

The devs expect to remove the cap nearer to full release of the game.
