I dont see this bug, maybe Im not looking good enough.
When starting a game, “Continue” button is launching the newest Autosave file, instead of newer manual save file.
Here is video. As you can see, manual save was saved during winter, but game loaded autosave during summer:

Did you move your save files in/out at any point?
Alternatively, did you play on another PC with cloud sync in between those saves?
This is happening for years already, I reported this long ago.
