Let's talk about Blight Fiend - Unstable Anomaly

Right now this skill is super underwhelming.

In death effect should be something like his Blight burst effect or tainted eruption and not that ultra small radius that does basically nothing.

It should also reduce the cooldown even more for u to have 3 of then more often, even with the right cooldown items and constellations it’s really hard.

Or they should last longer-----16 seconds is really ideal.

This guy (TPOM) made a Poison Pet build but didn’t use this transmuter. This is what he said about it in the main post

So maybe give it a huge Energy Cost reduction and Total Damage Modified by 5-10%

What if unstable anomaly transforms the blight fiend damage to scale with player bonuses? with a better in death power it could be useful with a Dee / ravenous earth build

Three unstable anomalies are going to help with the survivability of skeles in crucible cuz they have huge threat level in front of nemesises and bosses. At the same time, three of them conveniently increase the radius of rotting fumes which contributes to skeles’ critical damage.

It’s always the skeles or insects(primal instincts) that are doing the majority of the damage.Blight fiend helps with their survival by being a punchbag and significantly increase their damage by lowering bosses’ da.

My issue with this transmuter, well one of them, is that the fiend takes about 3 of its 8 seconds of life to even active rotting fumes. Wasting time when there is very little of it to begin with is bad.

The death explosion, if you want to call it that, is underwhelming.

The added hassle of having to activate a skill every few seconds just isn’t worth the barely noticeable increase in dps. If there’s an increase at all.
