The initial range was good. This is my opinion. When a town is built, not everyone can live in noble-like houses. The current range makes all houses up to the highest tier. I think it’s too simple. What do you guys think?

Some will actually like to have all houses upgraded. Anyway, the 2 extremes can be satisfied by adding a customizable parameter under difficulty settings which controls the decorations effect within a certain range of options, maybe introduced along with all the difficulty customizations planned for version 0.9.6.
This way those who like to see a fully wealthy town will use the easier (larger radius) option, and others will use harder (smaller radius) option.
By the way, there is already a mod in the Nexus (Desirabilty Radius Overhaul) which can help you to “fix” this right now; you can set radius to maybe 0.5 and you will get harder gameplay.
