Can someone give me an idea of how to level to about 50 as grasping vines?
Would be a conjurer so shaman+occultist only.
Like what devotions should I get, What skills besides grasping vines should I max ect.
Depending on the damage type, Eldritch Fire or the Muse devotion ability seem to work great on skills like grasping vines. Acid Spray is always good but I favor ones that spread to nearby enemies on a skill that slows or immobilizes mobs.
What devotion proc you bind to it definitely matters - something with a low cooldown will work wonders for supporting it’s damage.
Would definitely go with the obvious and max out curse of frailty and its upgrade, as far as skills this can really go well alongside the vines, slowing enemies and weakening them to bleed damage
Haha yeah it doesn’t. But as I said before. I generally don’t start as pets till level 30-45 when you can get some devotions and extra pets.
I’m not even playing gd atm I’m just curious how this would be done.
The real worry with it though is damage. The only low level items that can give skill bonuses to it are the Groble Sand Effigy (+2) and Briarthorn Band (+1), otherwise you’re stuck at 12/12 that does 71 Physical/Bleed damage.
The Physical is arguably more important here as Vines deals direct damage twice a second and multiple of them can stack this damage if placed close together. You’re probably looking at 426 Physical damage before % bonuses with 3 instances of Vines active dealing 2 ticks each per/s.
So, other than resist reduction and potential devotion bindings, It might be worth considering a secondary skill to pair it with as well.
The Rend devotion proc on either Grasping Vines or Curse of Frailty makes leveling to 50 (and a little beyond) a joke…only issue you might have is with skellies and Vines without more RR
Put Rend on Grasping Vines and Falcon Swoop on Devouring Swarm or vice versa.
Easy going.

Completely forgot about binding Rend 
. Overthinking a simple problem.
How would you do devos then, Purple, Falcon, Red, Jackal, remove red, Green, Huntress? Or would you pick up another devo for red instead of jackal?
Would be the fastest way.
You can think about a longer way and add Bat (instead of Jackal) and put in on CoF.
devouring swarm would be much easier out of the gate
