Leveling the terrain

yesterday settled, today horrible!

this is terrible, everything was fine when I saved the game, now everything is crooked ((

I’m making it again!

ok great, saved, restarted the game

I’m not a programmer, so this is pure speculation, but I wonder if it would be possible to add a Completely Flatten order to the terrain modification. All that would do is raise or lower the ground under a building so that the resulting structure is perpendicular instead of skewed. Obviously, it should cost more in labor for the big monumental buildings like the Temple and Theatre, but for extra cost you could do it after the building was constructed to correct unsightly things like you are dealing with.

It would seem that addressing the ground issue would be easier than changing the building graphic on a case-by-case basis, but as stated, I’m no programmer so don’t know which would be the easier solution.

Could you please upload the save with this tilting issue?

Saves are located in:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\my games\Farthest Frontier\Save

Zip up the entire TownName_###### folder along with the .map file and .sav that reproduces the issue. If the files are too big, you can use a service such as Google Drive to share it with us.

Thanks!

I’m sorry, I can’t, I had to install the system again and I didn’t make a copy of the game ((I started the same map again, if it happens again, I’ll contact you.

done yesterday

today

Ah good. We need the .map file that goes with that as well.
