My first character has been a ranged primal strike druid, which has been very fun. However, with the current primal strike bug I figured I’d give something else a go for a while. I like the look of a cadence witch blade. It seems that a lot of people say to level a cadence character initially with blade arc. How long do people usually take before switching to cadence? Is this mainl because of the shitty AOE of cadence without devotion/weapon procs?
Level with poison, you can switch to physical at 75 to equip desired items
I personally think it’s better to level with Cadence IMO.
Played through everything Veteran>Ultimate and had no problems with AoE.
Cadence+Fighting Form+Devotion(Falcon Swoop/Maul) can sweep through trash mobs easily.
I had more problems with leveling with Blade Arc with all that Energy problems.
Can confirm Cadence works well. Put some points into the main Cadence node, put one into fighting form, and then when you reach 32 (i think it was), put a few into deadly momentum. Get Curse of Frailty early and get the Falcon constellation, then just bind falcon swoop to CoF and you’re good to go for all of normal/vet and some of elite.
Early on, I prefer to hit-and-run with Blitz in order to minimise damage received.
