Hey guys. First time posting on the forums. I’ve been working on a Wind Devil and Storm Totem Druid for Hardcore. Currently I’ve completed Ultimate through Log and can comfortable farm Steps/BoC. You all on the forums have much more knowledge than I do, so I’m looking for any constructive feedback for the following build.
Form Totem and Devil focused Druid you have to set some priorities.
Your damage will mainly come from Storm Totem followed by procs so should focus on ST and gear according to it.
Druid allows for high Crit Damage setup and Mirror/Maiven as defensive layers but mainly lacks OA and DA so you have to use items that procs OA/DA increase
Unles you want to go for all in Electrocute damage, Wind Devil is useless to invest other than a pointer and while i also found the double Devil idea nice with Cinderwind, they don’t really deal much damage in execution.
It also heavily deals Electrocute and Physical damage and to make it work you’d need a lot of Electrocute damage from different sources and in this case you don’t have a lot and not much damage conversion to make use of the physical damage. Most useful stat imo is the impaired aim in WD.
You’ll have to embrace a kiting playstyle and never attempt to facetank against dangerous enemies as much it’s possible.
Here is a no MI dependant tanky version with max stun resist.
Biggest lack is the physical resistance but as i’ve said you need to embrace a kiting playstyle around Wendigo Totem and keep your distance from enemies.
Overall it has great life pool, high armor, solid DA/OA numbers and combined with Maiven and Mirror it will be more than enough to hold it’s own against tough challanges.
For Healing you’ll rely on Potions, Behemoth, Chariot procs and Wendigo Totem.
You could also go Star Pact instead but from my experience this setup needs a high crit damage in execution and tho CDR would be really useful tho i prefer crit damage and more lightning damage.
