[Lightning Conjurer] Dual-Wielding Gun Build

Great build i just dont understand why you use arcane bomb in devotion, dont make sense to me since you are lightning i would rather use the points in recless tempest instead both for the nice skill and boost to lightning dmg. Ill use reckless tempest instead and try the build.

John

Funny I play the exact same character but with dual crystallum swords! Devotions differ as well. I try to beat the crucible with it and at least it feels doable compared to elementalist. But OA is a big issue for me I have a hard time to go over 2500 unbuffed… working on this.

Oh and I use aspect of the guardian as it helps a lot in the crucible.

Btw do you believe that wind devils with this investment beats storm totem dps wise?

Arcane bomb gives -33% lightning resist reduction which is unbeatable DPS wise! Reckless tempest doesn’t even come close!

Thanks for replying.

Yeah RR is too important to lose. Tempest adds a source of Electrocute

If you like Tempest then drop Spear of the Heavens and take it along with Widow, Rhowan

I like Tempest, it’s my favorite T-2 constellation compared to its elemental counterparts Amatok (piece of shit Cold constellation) and Magi (Bad but seems kinda decent these days)

But i don’t find Tempest worth the troubles

I’m new to this game, so this might be a silly question but do I just dump all the points into physique?

Mostly yes

Make sure to save some points for Cunning to equip the guns and some for spirit for jewelry

ah ok. As for the devotion. Should I start in a specific way as I’m leveling or it shouldn’t matter that much?

I’d get Elemental Storm and Healing proc (forgot name ) first then focus on Spear of the Heavens

Thank you.

I have been leveling using Dreeg’s Evil Eye. What lvl should i respec into this?

Funniest part is you can respec at Level 85 cause DEE is an end-game skill

But I’d say at 50 if you want to go for Pistols

Otherwise

At level 35 you can respec into Savagery itself but will have to play Melee Savagery with 2h sword (get the transmuter of Savagery for 8% Physical Resistance which gives you tankiness)

Are you at Homestead?

Just reached it. Lvl 33

Cool

Did you pick a faction?

I have started the process of updating my guides. The Grimtool link for the updated version has been added
As a bonus some builds much like this one will receive a second GrimTool link that will contain the same build concept done with a different class combo

Please notify me if any of the links is broken in any way

For now it’s only the GrimTool Links. I don’t have too much time at the moment but will update the write-up at some point. I have around 20+ other build guides to tend to so I am sure you guys can understand

Update:

Level 100 GT Link for Dual Pistol Conjurer and Vindicator added
Level 100 GT Link for 2h Ranged Conjurer and Vindicator added

well i cant get past this point in devotion tree grimtools/calc/4ZDMy4BN
so am i dump af or smthing else:mad:

Go to spirit guide she can remove devotion points. You need to refund devotion points

what are the strengths/weaknesses of going DW or 2H ranged vindicator ? In your opinion, whats better?

2h Ranged Vindicator that I have here is based around VoS and Damage Conversion so those slots are pretty much booked
But I do get 100% Piercing bonus of using VoS, since the gun has high racial damage towards aetherials the new areas will be handled much more easily

DW Pistols on the other hand has more RR, an extra chain lightning proc on the pistols. The ring and amulet slots have been freed up so it brings room from more flexibility in gearing

OA/DA wise DW Pistols is ahead of 2h ranged

Hi Chthon, thanks for the guide.

A semi-related question to the above: How do you think Dual-Pistol Conjurer compares with Dual-Pistol Vindicator?

Whoops this guide needed to get it’s plug pulled

Short version is that Vindicator > Conjurer because of WPS and Burst potential

Although Conjurer has a better way to apply the resistance reduction debuff. But that’s fairly a minor advantage

Btw, I am pulling the plug on the guide. The builds in the guide are more than viable but maintaining around 30 build guides is tedious so I need to pull the plug on this one as other good posters have this concept covered
