To clarify: I’m asking for some heroes/bosses to throw a lightning shotgun in a star pattern each time they are hit, with a short cooldown timer. We have fire enchanted enemies (burning dead), but no lightning/cold enchanted (cold retal chilled ones dont count)
Is someone nostalgic for the good old D2 days of multishot lightning enchanted heroes? Because those bastards killed a few of my HC characters back in the day…
Not really but it’s interesting to think about how many significant bugs D2 had that didn’t get fixed for years or were never fixed at all.
Some like the Guided Arrow + pierce even went on to be actual strategies.
The MLEB thing was broken because the 2 affixes weren’t meant to interact with each other.
And there were other bugs too like the enemy Mana Burn that drained like 60 times the value it was supposed to, so one hit would empty your mana pool.
Yeah, there was nothing as fun as doing a Travincal run where the Council had synergized auras, so when they came on the screen your character instagibbed so hard it turned your PC into a 386 playing Curse of Azure Bonds.
My favorite bug was a type of viper that only spawned in one dungeon, it cast a poison cloud, nothing extraordinary really but they fucked it up completely. It dealt all its damage on every frame (25 of those in a second iirc) when you moved through it, but not when standing still. Very weird, it killed even faster than MSLE.
