I think the monthly gold production/output needs to be looked at.
I don’t exactly know what info you need since i can’t see the background calculations going on, so I’ll just describe what’s happening and answer whatever question you have.
I have no guards and no soldiers, yet I am still being billed for their training every month.
I have guard towers.
I do not have barracks.
I hired guards for the towers and paid the bills for training.
As long as they were assigned as guards,i was billed for monthly training.
Everything is good up to this point.
THEN, I fired all my guards.
I have no guards anymore.
month after month, year after year, i continue to pay for soldier training even though there are no soldiers or guards that exist to be trained.
I’d love to have a central on/off button, and with that the ability to turn on one or two towers to protect from animal attacks. The alternative is to have a Hunter there but they do tend to wander off.
You have to remove the people slots from each tower to get them to turn off and stop charging you, too. Just toggling them off still seems to charge you. But if you click the minus button in the tower until there are no employees, then toggle the building off, the monthly cost will go to 0.
In my experience, I had a tower continuing to charge me 5 gold monthly until I removed the employee slot. I was very low on gold so I was trying to find all of the places I could save every gold bar. I had closed my tower but was continuing to see 5 gold monthly for soldiers/training. It really wasn’t until I removed that employee that the monthly amount went to zero. I’ll try to duplicate it and come back if I can.
Thank you for this! As my settlement grew, I had towers consuming resources that were no longer useful. Really helped my gold supply to toggle them off.
