Once my game loads, I get a black screen with the bar at the top showing, and if I wait like 15-30 seconds it will load the rest of the image and I can play as normal. Starting happening after the recent update to V.0.7.4 but is kind of inconsistent. Doesn’t do it every time I load my game.
What happens if you press Z to center on town?
That happened to me but the game is just loading the save, you just have to wait some secs and you will see your town.
Nothing happens visually. The screen stays black, but then when my screen loads it is centered on the Town Centre. I tried pausing and unpausing, and that also doesn’t visually change screen, but I can hear it pausing and unpausing with the sounds, and then when the screen finally loads the pause button pauses/unpauses however many times I had hit it. lol Some kind of loading lag??
Also noticed that the timeline is always dead center when the bar shows up, and then changes to whatever time of season I had saved the game last once it does load. Not sure if that helps or not.
That happens every time I load save, but after some time the game will load (around 10-20s). Maybe that is partially related to PC specs because game clearly have issues atm with optimization on different fronts. My specs are below if you would like to compare:
