was just minding my own business behind the pc and saw that my cat was itchy (well scratching with her back leg) I carried on, after a couple of seconds I saw that something dropped from her:

took the tick to let it suffer: I put some hydrogen peroxide in it and after that I burned it on a fire

I don’t know if you already knew this, but because of the diseases they carry, fire is actually the recommended way of destroying ticks once they’re removed. So you did good.
