Looking for a 2h ranged bleed or poison build

Hello,

Long time lurker, first time poster

Was looking to get back to the game for Ashes of Malmouth and I’m wondering if its possible to do a serious 2h ranged bleed build (using Gutripper) or poison build (Venomlance?). Before AoM i was trying to theorycraft a ranged Warder with a Gutripper but there was always something missing and could not pinpoint the build in the end.
The idea was to get cadence+2h wps for bleeds+bleed/survial devotions, along with survival talents in both shaman and soldier trees.

Any chances we can see this kind of dot/ranged builds nowadays? I’m intending to finish Ultimate and farm nemesises - maybe duo Crucible with my wife.

Ideas?

Warder works, but as far as bleed goes you’re basically going into it for feral hunger and primal bond. Gutripper has huge armor pierce, though, and tactician boosts pierce and all damage. The WPS don’t have bleed, but overall I think it might be the smoother option.

Not super sexy, but the numbers look surprisingly solid to me.

Thanks for the quick reply!

My concern is also survival though - your build barely has any. Is Word of Renewal enough to get me through nemesis bosses, not to mention crucible?
Also build feels very strongly shifted into piercing with just a bit of forced bleeds in there, though i understand there may not be enough bleed items to support it.
Im really more into the DoT builds

Any propositions to roll something with Venomlance rifle maybe? Or is just pure poison the way to go for DoT builds? I kinda went elemental way on previous chars and dont feel like doing it with a new one

Thanks again!

So i theorycrafted something i think might work, its far from perfect - but its the closest to what i thought makes sense. Its supposed to be a phys/bleed warder with high survivability using gutripper.
Any pro would like to share their thoughts on the chosen gear and the placement of talents (ie - take points from here and add there for profit)

paste this into the regular grim tools: pZrGX36N (sorry cant post links yet…)

Thanks!
