Due RL I had break when was still low lvl and after patches the build is abit broken and since Zappa is not around anymore its not updated.
Thats why I wanna start with new build but I dont know what to pick.
Im very bad at making my own builds so I really would like to have some guide.
It will be my first high lvl character so dont have any gear in bank. I wanna be able to do every content in game on hardest difficulty after some gear grind ofc. I dont play HC.
I really like builds with some “flashy” and nice looking skills (thats why stromcaller catched my eyes) but its not requirement.
So any advice what would fit this best after recent updates?
PS: I looked at the build compendium thread but Im not experienced and Im not really sure which one to pick.
This is a bare-bones Sorcerer build that utilizes Canister Bomb and Firestrike. Canister Bomb softens up enemy mobs and Fire Strike finishes them off.
CB is tons of fun. In Normal and Elite you will have a blast, it starts to get a little sticky in Ultimate. That’s when Olexra’s Flash Freeze comes in handy. You freeze them, and make them extremely vulnerable to fire, then you bomb them, and anyone who survives that you shoot dead.
It might not be ridiculously easy to gear up for it, but given that CB and FS both are based on multiple damage types you have more gear to choose from than with lots of other builds: Fire, burn, physical, pierce, trauma, lighting, chaos … none of them are completely wasted.
As for devotions, Kraken in the top left center is amazing for rifles and crossbows, for the rest the emphasis should be on health and resistances, e.g. Targo the Builder (center right) and Behemoth (bottom left). Also, you’d want movement speed maxed so Sailor’s Guide (just above the starting point) and Messenger of War (top left center) might be a good idea.
Attribute points should generally go into Physique to make up for the low health, but try to always keep as much spare points as possible for weapon requirements. Aim for about 400 cunning for high-end weapons.
