Looking for a defensive map seed

I’m on the hunt for a map with a decent sized space that can be defended with just a few choke points. Would like to be able to house a 500 pop t4 settlement inside with only maybe a few resources requiring going outside the gates. Anyone have anything with lakes or mountains that protect a solid space?

this fell into my lap this morning
i gasped
i clicked in so fast i haven’t located sand yet
i don’t care
there is room for a population of 1000 and the farms to feed them (tight, not the barns)
the big L is the entire outer wall

wall, town center, industry and housing

looking down the road and back, above the pottery shack

moving the camera forward to the market, behind housing,
everything you see above and to the side in black is bounded by water

after moving the farms back, i’ll run an open route, serpentine, back and forth, up and down the L, towers set in revetment that doesn’t lead to the town, they have to run by, getting hit from all directions while moving, means they are always getting shot in the back from somewhere
extra crispy
something like this old map screen

Wow man. This map is like, exactly what I was looking for. I’m going to enjoy building this out. You are the real MVP.

Note that in addition to the initial Defensive Corner, if you go south there is a string of small ponds and water that allow you to fence off the entire southern part of the map, and off to the west (left as you look at the original corner) there is a bottleneck between two bodies of water that allows a short (2 tower) stretch to wall off that section of the map.

You can basically wall up about half the map in the late game.

Also, note that in 8.3, when you restart a map both the animal spawns AND the mineral deposits move. First time I generated this map I had a loverly big Cay deposit right in the middle of the defensive zone, but no deer anywhere in sight. Restarted, and got a Deep Clay Deposit right at the edge of the original defensive line, No other Clay anywhere near, but deer all over the place.

I have managed to explore most of this map, and it has Deep Coal, Sand, Clay, Gold and Stone deposits, but apparently only regular Iron deposits, but a lot of them - there are a couple of mountains off in the corner that are full of Iron, while there are several 3000+ Clay deposits, at least one each large Coal and Gold deposits, and several Sand deposits. So in addition to its defensive potential, it also has everything you could need to build without having to rely on the Trading Post.

I only rolled it once, and my starting peninsula has a deep clay and deep sand deposit and a ton of deer just to the south in a semi circle from the end of the right lake branch (I haven’t explored beyond the starting area a ton yet) to the left hand, upper section, all 3 ^ too. I’m going to put so many hours into this one and maybe I’ll finally make it to the point where the armies start attacking before I lose interest and roll another map. >.>

Build a well close to the border of the map you don’t want the attacks to come from and suddenly all maps are like one you are looking for
