Looking for some build advice

I want to make a Primal Strike build using the Ugdenbog Sparkthrower. I’m sure there are better choices out there, but the weapon just gives me a thematic vibe.

I’m guessing that I wouldn’t take Primal Strike’s mutator and try to work with the 1.2s CD reduction. Would CD reduction on other items affect PS?

I feel as if I’m kind of forced to take the Inquisitor as my 2nd class, which is fine. I’m just wondering if this is a completely futile effort for a SSF character with aspirations to clear SR75-76 amongst other farming. I’d prefer not to pick up Savagery and weave it in during PS CD, which I’m sure is leaving a lot of damage on the table.

If I’ve left out anything needed to form an opinion, let me know. I plan on fumbling through the game with the build if it’s “viable” and see what shakes out, but general…I guess checkpoints in gearing(faction/farmed/etc) and skill/devotion “musts” would be appreciated to give me a general framework.

I was thinking about a SSF Druid, something like this Druid, Level 100, not sure how it would fare. I will try it some day.

  • +4 to Storm Totems or maybe even more stats on the Spark by resetting Vinelton
  • low level Ultos set also from Vinelton
  • blue set pieces maybe I could gamble, or maybe I could wear something to reach 26 Storm Totems

You mention Storm Totem. Do you mean the Storm Box of Elgoloth bonus instead, or can you roll a Sparkthrower that also has +4 to Storm Totem?

Yes, there’s Of Torrents suffix with +4 to Storm Totem. I thought maybe I can try maxing this skill as well since you can buy Sparks. And of course the idea is to get very high OA because the build has like 150 Crit damage on Primal Strike. I don’t know how it would compare to Vindicator.
