Looking for some hybrid pet builds

I think everyone’s very familiar with the same old lazy pure pets build with fragile summoner who basically does nothing beside casting CoF and Vines for proccing devotions.
Thank to some particular items, we can make some hybrid builds where both the master and the pets fight side by side.
These are some of the gear combo that i find fitting for such idea:

Lightning pets:
Voidmancer’s Cord
Savage

Fire/Chaos pets:
[Empowered Black Grimoire of Og’Napesh

Black Scourge

Poison/Acid pets:
Blightstone Invoker
Empowered Plaguemancer’s Amulet
Plaguebearer of Dreeg
Bysmiel’s bonds devotion pet proc on attack

IIRC there are also some items giving bonus to retaliation to user and pets, so i think tanky warder with Briarthorn?

So have there been any builds like that already or is anyone working on one?

I have long since made them, fire pet master (pyromancer) through Dracarris, and poisonous (conjurer) through the eye of Dreeg, Plaguebearer of Dreeg & and the Circlet of the Great Serpent.

There is the Winter King items which are fantastic for melee/summoner hybrid. While you aren’t gonna be topping the scoreboard in terms of clear speed, it’s still very entertaining.

It’s not a hybrid pet build but I tell u what necromancer hand grips and Nemesis relic are insanely good without anything invested in pets

I am working on a pyromancer too, the initial idea is to use fire strike with maxed brimstone so i could lifesteal for survivability but that didn’t work so i switched to hellfire mine and BWC, has been working well so far.

For the poison/acid i did try to build one but the rift scourge from the amulet always died too fast and the one from bysmiel’s bonds didn’t show any significant strength so i stopped, do you mind sharing your build breakdown?

i have thought about that, i honestly think that should be a set rather than just a pseudo-set.

The Nemesis’ Manticore doesn’t scale with pet bonuses, it scales with player’s bonuses, but yea, i love that pet anyhow, you don’t have to invest anything into pets and still have a very cool hard hitting sidekick.
About the ghosts from the deathgrips i agree that they are quite strong and spawn really fast.

I went in a simpler way - it is known that swarmling with primal instinct relics (which of course is the best relic for any self-respecting puppeteer) cause almost half of the fire damage, therefore increasing our fire damage, we increase their efficiency.

We also need a variety of sources, reducing the resistance of the enemies, so we use cocktails, mines and curse of weakness.

In fact, the empowered blightshard amulet I would not say that much good, because sovereign ruby of domination will always be a perfect choice for puppeteer due stunning proc and relevant bonuses for pets.
