Can anyone recommend a stash mod that just increases stash size in-game with no 3rd party software that runs separate from game? Also needs to work with AoM.
Have you looked at Stasher? Haven’t tried it myself, but it looks like it accomplishes an expanded stash very well.

Oh, nice. I was looking for a stash mod as well. Will give this a try!
It is great. It has the same tabs as before but each stash window is 5 times bigger. Simple as that. Oh, also the stash upgrade cost is 1 iron now too.
