Looting Overhaul

i was wondering if it’d be worth it to add a pity counter and a item type drop counter to modify the loot pool on the fly.

like say if a crossbow can drop and hasn’t dropped in a reasonable number of generated loot drops next chance a crossbow can drop it will. this will likely have to prioritize by rarity of a given item type dropping in the first place. to keep rarer types from still being pushed out

or the opposite of that. each time a crossbow is generated it ticks of counter. after so many drops it stops dropping until all the available item types that specific creature can drop has dropped. it isn’t tracked by creature. it just only checks the counters for the loot types that creature can drop

i have no clue. maybe the loot generating system already works well enough. i just haven’t been all that satisfied with the drops lately. either way to many. no matter how i set the Item Filter. or to few. even with nothing, but Commons, being filtered. thought this might clear that up, hypothetically
