Lore appropriate witch cult for Aether Death Knight

Hey all,

I generally try to run “lore appropriate” builds with my characters and am stuck on which Witch Cult is more appropriate for an Aether Death Knight.

Key Skills: Cadence, Blitz, Spectral Binding

Devotions: Revenant (skeleton summons), Spear

My general thought is Bysmiel is more appropriate as this build, while melee-focused, does “bind” spirits and skeletons to its bidding (I.e. player-scaled pets) but Solael is more “aggressive” and doesn’t fit in terms of damage but maybe fits in terms of context?

Thoughts?

I think Solael might be the best fit. The skills are in-your-face violence and the Revenant skeletons could be seen as a kind of sacrificial ritual.

Based on faction items and augments, Dreeg support aether Necromancer the most, followed by aether Arcanist that is also supported by Bysmiel. Many Bysmiel aether support goes to Inquisitor and some to Soldier. Solael aether support only the jewelry augments.
