I reinstalled steam and all my games on steam, including grim dawn. Then i installed grim dawn again and all my characters are lost. I clicked “Download Cloud Saves” in network options and nothing happened…
PLS HELP ME ! I LOST EVERYTHING, I LOST MY HARDCORE CHARACTER. I MAKED HIM WITH LOVE AND NOW ITS ALL GONE ? WP CRATES I HATE YOU ill never return to this game if i have to lose all my time in this game only because i reinstalled…:furious:
Unless you manually deleted the saves from your local folder there’s no reason that installing GD will delete the local save folder.
So the question is were you using Steam cloud saving in the first place, if so then it’s down to steam regards where your saves are… not anything to do with Crate.
Were you previously playing with Cloud saving enabled ?
i never changed or checked anything about cloud. I played with default options.
DUDE ITS 2018 !! Do you think if im playing diablo 3 i need to check anything before ill uninstall game ? NO. I can do everything what i want and still my game progress is automaticly saved
The same is true here. GD does not delete your saves.
So either they should be in the local saves or in the cloud. As they are not in local saves, double check that cloud saving is active both in Steam and the GD settings.

Get a life. If your saves are missing it is because you screwed up. Uninstalling GD does not touch your save files. Don’t put the blame for your incompetence on others.
Reminds me of myself when I was crying over glitch destroying all of my saves on PSX memory card. I was 10 back then. A shout from my dad made me stfu. Kinda understand him now.
