Low armour on crafted gear during play-through

So I have an infiltrator in HC Elite, who has just beaten Karroz. My gear is looking alright, except for the pants. They are stonehide of vitality…but the armour is low like 300 or so. It’s now less than half the value of my other slots. I often use the various vendors to fill in gaps, but last night after checking I gave up and started crafting to replace them…only to find everything I craft has the same low armour value.

Is there a reason why the gear I craft has an armour value of 300 when everything I find, from mobs or shops, has 600 or more? Maybe it’s RNG and I’m unlucky? Maybe I need to use someone besides Angrim?

What kinda pants you craft? Heavy armor of course have higher vase armor value.

When you are leveling it’s good idea to replace the gear with lowest value every few levels. Also Angrim is still the best craftsman.

Yeah they were heavy. I see it was just bad luck…10 with 300 armour before I stopped and asked here, then last night first one was 800 armour so all’s good :slight_smile:
