Low Budget Ranged Char?

I was wondering if there was a low gear budget ranged build that I would be able to start pretty fresh with no end game gear and build/farm into late game? I am interested in using guns? of some sort.

I have recently picked the game back up and have not progressed my old chars into ultimate. I was looking to start at level 1 and go from there, have not played extensively since before the level cap raise.

Try a Demolitionist Fire Strike build, dualwield pistols or 2H rifle.
All you need is attack speed, fire damage on weapons and Elemental storm and resistances and some health. The rest is optional.

You WILL get into trouble in Crucible, probably, at you will be more AOE than single target. But Ultimate should be a breeze as it was for me.
