Loyalist Items Packs, illusionist doesn't show the coats or armours?

I’m running Grim Dawn with patch 1.1.9.8, bought on Steam, on Windows 10.

I have the two loyalist items packs, but some of the items are not proposed by the illusionists. I’ve searched here and on the Internet but didn’t find anything similar.

For example,

  • I got the Illusion: Swashbuckler’s Coat from Kory the Keeper
  • I right-clicked on it
  • got the notification that I gained the new illusions.

But when I go to Paulia in Devil’s Corssing, she only proposes the hats and helms, not any of the coats or chest armours. There’s only one page of items (see screenshot), so I’m not missing anything here.

Do I have do something else to see them? Must I find another illusionist? Or is that a bug?

On top of that, I’ve realized that we had to pay for each item, which is fine, and that it had to be done again and again each time a new item was equipped - which is not fine.

click the chest slot on your character…

I … had just realized that. Thanks!

as for the paying ingame to use something you paid real money for
the old way to apply loyalist pack was with an item, you then had to use that item on each new upgrade
AoM introduced the illusionist you see there, devs decided to move the loyalist transmog effect to that/have it all in 1 place, so it’s not really that much less cumbersome than before, the only difference is where you go to click to transmog your loyalist pack
*ingame moneywise you should be “fine”, as long as you loot/sell a normal amount of items you should have money for illusions through the game, tho if you’re a fashion aficionado it can definitely be a way to go broke early game tho if you switch illusions every 10secs
-but it’s still just a minor money sink, and getting iron bits from selling all the greens that drop should be fine/simple in general. Specially now we have the loot pinatas that spit out a ton of greens

Yeah, I suppose it’s not too expensive in iron bits. Still, I’d rather have the illusion applied permanently to the slot and not the item.

I guess it’s something that is more annoying at the beginning and that we don’t change that much often after reaching a point in the game. It must also feel much more expensive at the beginning.

that’s not possible the way GD works sadly, as i understand
the slot is the armour/item, each time you put on a new item you’re effectively rotating out that “physical” slot on your char model, like if your char/“model” was made out of lego blocks

You may be right, there

Right after posting and seeing the screenshot, I thought I’d try to see if I could click on body parts, and it worked. Then I was thinking, “can I undo this post?” And @Gnomish_Inquisition had posted the answer.

You have to admit it’s barely visible, but the fact it was only hats should have been a clue. Ah well.

PS: I did try a few other things before asking, but it’s one of these days I suppose.
