Mad Queen on normal difficulty?

Hey guys! I’m here to talk about dearest Rashalga.

Every time I look up strategies or whatever to defeat her, people always seem to be talking about Elite and Ultimate (mostly ultimate to show their build is really good since it can down her) but I never see anything about her on normal?!

I was wondering if she was just not meant to be even approached in normal. Because my friend and I wanted to, you know, try it, before going to elite. And well, we were about level 45 and she was in the 50’s or something, but I think that no matter what bosses like that are scaled to be a couple levels higher than you.

So yeah, the major problem was that 1: She always went for my friend when I’m the tank (facetanking retaliation warder stuff) and even warcry wouldn’t save him from her wrath. And well, he’d get one shot whenever she decided his presence was unwelcomed, so that wasn’t very successful haha.

It’s our first time going through the game, by the way! We just are both the completionist types and well, any tips and pointers on what is more of a hindrance to complete on Normal would help.

People always say that normal isn’t really dependant on gear yet, but I’m curious about that. Was our problem our stats not being good enough or was it that we should have gotten a few more levels in? Or better: Is it because Rashalga is made to destroy anyone on normal unless they farm until they’re so high level that they will reach the cap sooner than intended while going through elite/ultimate?

I’m just curious if we should bother to beat her on normal or if we should just keep building better gear and try again on elite.

She isn’t as much of a threat on normal. You still have to watch out for her “payback aura”. Do not attack her when she glows red.

You can remove her “payback aura” with nullification or cleansing waters. But in general just keep your cool and stay away from her until it disappears. After a few rounds she should drop.

I always kill her in every difficulty while leveling characters, she’s not that much of a threat in Normal/Veteran and Elite. Ultimate is where she gets really powerful.

Like Duch_King said, don’t touch her while she has the red aura. It sends out life reduction retaliation spikes and they really hurt.

Thanks for the tips, guys. We beat her the other day. My friend got the timing with his invincibility when she’d proc the aura, so we easily out dps’d her. The only boss we couldn’t beat was Avatar of Mogdrogen, but ehh, that’ll be for later, lol

Avatar of Mogdrogen is not a boss meant to be tackled expect for bragging rights, specially when you can only defeat him once in every difficulty.

If only the Mog Shoulders weren’t… Awful.

On my 1st character a very high DA commando din’t notice mad queen was that hard to kill in ultimate breezed by mad queen like she’s an act 1 boss
