Maimu chan’s Endgame 8 Builds (v1.2.1.6) – 1-min Ravager / sub-5-min SR30–31

What is this?

v1.3 Playtest would start soon, and I will also participate. Before that, I would like to introduce my builds from v1.2.1.6.
These builds are ones I put together freely in my own style, aiming for the following benchmarks:

  • Ravaver kill around 1 min
  • SR 30-31 in under 5 min (including lucky runs)

These are not on the Top 20 level, so nerfs are not necessary DEFINITIVELY

Builds

Leviathan Death Knight

Leviathan

:skull: Grim Tools :hammer:

This is the toughest build among those introduced here. I know sk_choi has already posted a no-MI version. I also have been using Leviathan Death Knight since around v1.1.9.2, and I modernized it in v1.2.1.6. So here I present a version using 3 MIs. With this build, you can freely choose the exclusive skill. Oleron is recommended for superbosses, while Menhir works better for everything else.

Virtue's Light Shieldbreaker

Virtue

:fire: Grim Tools :shield:

After considering combinations that could fully utilize 100% physical-to-fire conversion with Cinderscorn, I arrived at this build. Together with the 3 Guardians of Empyrion, let’s shout it out loud: FLAME ON!

Fire Blightlord Oppressor

:fire: Grim Tools :open_book:

This character has a special place for me. It was the one that defeated Crate for the first time back in v1.1.9.2. With the v1.2.1.6 update, it has returned stronger than ever.
The vitality Blightlord version in the top 20 might be stronger, but the fire Blightlord can still do the job. Fire Blightlord is alive and well.

Note: I am using a double rare MI off-hand because I have it, but it is not required. Aggressive / of Scorching affixes will work just fine.

DW Ludrigan Vindicator

Ludrigan

:zap: Grim Tools :gun:

Ludrigan Druid has long dominated the Top20, but what about Vindicator? I decided to try building a dual-pistol setup. Together with Storm Totems, just keep shooting nonstop!

Acid SnB Oppressor

Occulant

:test_tube: Grim Tools :shield:

This build combines Deathguard Set with Oculant, a unique shield that has WPS. I also tested Oculant builds with Sentinel and Dervish, but this combination proved to be the most stable.

Cadence and RoS Goredrinker Blademaster

Goredrinker

:crossed_swords: Grim Tools :crossed_swords:

Ring of Steel builds are running rampant in the Top20, but for me they required too many MIs, so I tried a version using the Goredrinker set and Reaver’s Claw. I am looking forward to the Goredrinker buffs announced for v1.3.

Unseeing Gaze Infiltrator

Thaddius

:eye: Grim Tools :eye:

A dual-wield build centered around the epic set Unseeing Gaze. With 30% CDR and a relic, skills rotate at very high speed. It almost feels like playing an Arcanist. Once awakened in FoA, the blind assassin, Thadius Brannagan’s closed eyes may finally open.

DW Bonemonger Oppressor

Bonemonger

:damage_aether: Grim Tools :crossed_swords:

Since v1.2.1.3, Veilkeeper has been running wild, but what about Bonemonger? I tried to find a way to make use of this abandoned set.

Paramour system finally getting expanded in FoA.

I would go insane trying to reach those benchmarks. I have maybe one character that could do that consistently, in theory.

I like the look of that Infiltrator. Blue gear needs love.

(Also curious what your Goredrinker’s true name is now)

Thanks! I always play in Japanese, so I had misunderstood the English name :revolving_hearts:

Fantastic collection!
I especially liked seeing the mindwarp.
I looted one sonetime ago, and while looking at it I knew I had to keep it because the theme is so cool. Then I went to grimtools to check what are the available builds using it were, and there were not a lot :frowning:

Thank you for this list!
Bookmarked a couple of them to check out later.

I wonder how would you rank their HC viability?

Thanks for watching!

I do not have much HC experience, so take this as a guess. The furthest I went in HC was defeating Korvaak and Lokarr on Ultimate.

First, I think Leviathan DK is the most HC friendly. It is very tanky and can clear SR36 safely.
Next would be Blind Assassin Infiltrator in terms of durability. However, its AoE is lacking, so it gets shredded by Moosilauke in SR36.
Ludrigan Vindicator should also be quite safe. You can place Storm Totems and shoot from a distance, and the health regeneration makes it comfortable to play.
