I got my aether ray toon to 32 and got my shard, so I figured I would do FG content until the armor I want dropped.
I was exploring everywhere when I found a place called something of Maw. It had tentacles and was like a giant mouth.
I went in and got to the boss and he dropped a quest item but a HUGE bug hit me.
All my text names and power descriptions are now just multicolored dots. Also, any msg’s that pop up on my screen are the same dots as well as all conversations with npc’s.
Game plays fine. I can sell and bank fine. I can read what items do fine, but no items have names, just those dots.
Also, I kept going and found another boss like the other one but this was a griffon. Nothing changed when his quest item dropped.
Is this a known bug? Plz tell me my game isn’t screwed and there is a fix?
has something todo with the poison floor pools in the maw, other users have already reported the issue for xbox
don’t know if Crate has found a fix for it yet/when the patch will come
i’m gonna guess that if you restart game/session the borked text should go away (assuming you don’t go into maw again ofc)
but as you can see from the response Rhis is on it
