I was surprised when seen the ZT’s tooltip during dual wielding melee weapons.
An it works just like that! Why the hell ZT hits with only main hand weapon?
So you want necrotic edge for soldier:p Imo some identity is never a bad thing. If it just has a higher % weapon dmg, which it does, it can still be good on certain builds. It’s deliberate i think
With DW pistols you get all advantages from using ZT, with 2H melee weapons too. I don’t get it, why only DW melee is passed by

It’s design. Guns won’t do much dmg with it anyway whetehr commando or warden or simply a cadence based gunner so might as well be DW.
But you have a WPS with a different animation and higher base %wp dmg. It may not suit DW melee but it suits 2h and gunners. It has it’s own thing. If anything ZT need more modifiers all around on gear.
I thought ZT is useless for everything except dw guns due to it’s slow animation.
It’s fine with mods, like avenger has.

The only wps that are great without WPS are inquis wps. Because, you know…inquis.
So yeah, it’s mediocre without mods as any melee wps is really.
Necrotic edge is one of my favorite wps, can anyone say it’s amazing, even with mods :D…still you are compelled to take the mod if you want your build to use it unless it’s some crazy hybrid that is good at everything and does not really commit to anything but spellbinder…cough
After some thinking I realized that Zolhan could be completely broken if casted with DW melee. Only Execution outperforms it damage-wise. Just imagine this overkill - BM spamming Execution, Belgo Shears and Zolhan with both hands :rolleyes:
Love Necrotic Edge too, but its most powerful mod is on crappy medal, that’s sad
You know, Beta Belgo set used to have +ZT on it initially, for some reason, just imagine. They probably wouldn’t have modded MA so heavily

I mean, I don’t like dual wield characters, so I’ll say I want it to stay as it is.
