It’s really annoying how you kill 1000 aetherial vanguard in the candle district and they give no rep. How about you have Amala Torven give us 100 Malmouth rep for her quest.

always thought it was weird you didn’t even get any initial greeting rep from Captain Wilfor doing the first shake/handoff there, every other faction seems like it has that on the initial faction NPC you quest interact with.

I also found it weird that there is Markiv in the Sewer entrance on grimtools map, but I don’t think to ever meet him there, perhaps he should be the NPC that unlocks this faction reputation

One more angle to this. Backtracking to the Blackiron Docks is really annoying so I tend to leave a portal there as I’m walking past. Problem is that you don’t get the docks mission until you have Respected with Malmouth. And you don’t get Respected by the time you reach Crown Hill. If we got a thousand extra rep from the Candle District, this would all work out. We could reach Crown Hill, portal back to the docks and complete that, and then kill the Master of Flesh.

The portal DOES work if you have a mandate – but only then.

Also works if you full clear Steelcap. And I mean FULL clear. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
