Maybe I am missing something but I have met the Malmouth Resistance in the sewers and entered the candle district and when I use the bounty table or the faction vendor it says I am ‘tolerated’ and have 0/1500 reputation points…
however when I look at my faction window where you view all the factions and your various reputation and standings the Malmouth Resistance does not appear as a faction at all.
Do I need to complete the first quest of destroying the wagons before that appears? I don’t recall this being the case with other factions in the game. Maybe I am not remembering correctly but it feels like previously the factions would immediately show up on the faction screen once you met them…
i have turned the game off and back on, and killed one of the wagons (not all three) and nothing is showing yet. I rescued the kids in candle district as well, but still the malmouth faction does not appear on my faction screen.
Will they appear after I complete the initial quest, or is something wrong?
You do indeed have to complete 1 quest for the faction to appear in the faction window. So it´s either destroy the 3 wagons or the other quest (lowering the drawbridge? eh …).
thank you very much, I am just about to take out the last wagon, so it should appear after that.
I just did not recall any other faction working like that, but maybe they did and I did not notice…or maybe this is the only one that is set up this way.
In any case thanks for explaining it, I am relieved to know nothing has gone awry with my play-through…
