Have killed dozens and dozens of Manticores hunting for the gland to finish a quest with no luck. Picked up 3 Manticore eyes. Tried over 15 times.
Usually quest items show up the first time
Any ideas?
Another small notice. Some times while looking at a Smugglers ware, the items will roll over. Anybody else notice this.
Where are you killing them? Because only one spot drops the glads
Jagged Waste as called for by the quest
Well they don’t drop in jagged waste. It’s from manticores where you meet ulgrim for the second time
They drop in Jagged Waste too, at least they did the first time I did that quest, before I even knew about the other location. But it’s worth a shot to try that anyway, I unfortunately don’t have any other ideas other than the obvious “make sure you haven’t already completed the quest.”
They should drop in the Jagged Waste, absolutely. There’s no requirement to go to that cove by Ulgrim.

This is the first time that time has not dropped a poison gland to any of my characters.
Has the quest been change and the request not?
They have dropped in Jagged Waste every time I have done that quest. If you have not collected all the ones you need, you should see the quest stars on the map whenever you are close to one of the Manticore Wastestalkers which drop them. Once you have collected the requisite number, they stop dropping.
If you are not seeing them and you have not already collected them, you might want to file a bug report.
You are right, no stars to mark them as before. None picked up.
Gave up and moved on to Act4

Or you could just try to get one from where I told you. Since I always grab one from there before even opening barricade towards jagged waste/tyrant’s hold
Have you tried restarting the game to get another session?
Sounds like the quest hasn’t activated for some strange reason, as the glands should definitely drop in the Jagged Wastes
