When using Rush (Vire’s Might pattern)/Leap/Evade skill while focusing on any target (the target was hovered and pointed at by the cursor and the skill was used directly on the target), the skill now set the endpoint to the center of a model’s hitbox. This makes it impossible to use skills like Rush, Leap, Evade (and Vire’s Might on LMB at all) while a player’s model is inside a target’s hitbox. Probably, because the player’s model is trapped within the hitbox, as the startpoint and endpoint are now the same. Any Charge (e.g. Blitz)/Vanish (e.g Shadow strike) skill works ok.
This can be fixed by moving the cursor away from a target (and stop AA). However, this is generally difficult for any AA-based class, or any class that plays with LMB held down.
Previously, Blitz/etc. would place the player model adjacent to enemies.
It seems from
That Bltiz/etc. now places the player model inside enemies’ hitbox. Once there, skills like Vire’s Might seem to be unable to be used when hovering over that enemy.
It’s now possible to use Rush within a target’s hitbox. But the main problems is still there: it’s impossible to use Evade during AA because of “hitbox lock”, and one-point-hitbox-shotgun from some enemies still exists.
Now the target can also be a friendly NPC, with the same result.
During my tests, the dummy accidentally (how?) moved, which revealed that Rush doesn’t work if there’s an obstacle near the target (in this case, a wall). It’s also possible that the issue is that for the Rush there must also be some space around the target’s hitbox to satisfy the skill’s “target area” requirement.
Also, in some situations, it’s still impossible to use Rush on a target at all. In the video the skill (button 1) only became active after I moved out of the hitboxes of all targets.
This isn’t the only case. I’m just too lazy now to search and cut out each single one. But on the original video, you can just follow the same button 1.
